Joseon
I learn about Joseon dynasty at National palace museum. Yi-gye, the general of Goryeo established Joseon -seongin 1392. Nobles didn't like Joseon so Joseon needed a new capital. Jeong Do-jeon and Buddhist Master Moo-hak chose a Han-yang as the nw capital. Han-yang was located in the center of Korea and next to Han -river. This made transportation easy. First, Yi-seong-gye built Jongmyo and Sajik then built Gyeongbok palace. Except Gyeongbok palace, ther were 4 more palaces, Gyeonghui, Gyeongun,Changgyeong and Changdeok palace. Goryeo belived Buddhism and Joseon belived confucianism. China wanted to attaked Joseon, but China gave Joseon to a chance. They said when Joseon belived confucianism, China will be not attaked Joseon, so Joseon belived confucianism.
Do you know king Se-jong? He made now days Korean's Alphabet. He developed science, art (ect) too... However he was most popular king now days.
