I went to Gyengbokgung for the first time today.
Gyeongbokgung is the biggest among the palaces which is located in Seoul. The name means 'The palace of great fortune.' That was originated from chinese book <시경>.
First, i would like to introduce the three section and the buildings in the sections. In the inner palace, there are Gangneongjeon etc. And it was for the royal family and official work. In the outer palace, there are Geunjeon etc. Also, it was for ceremonies, evets. Lastly, in the resting and hosting place, there are Gyeonghoeru etc. And, it was for entertainment. I was surprised that the palace could be divided to sections. Then, I would like to explain about sad story about Empress 민. 민 had every effort to be familiar with Russia. But Japan didn't like it. So, they killed her. I suddenly felt anger to Japan.
Anyway, the trip to Gyengbokgung was both interesting and tired. |
