I went to Namsan Hanok Village. I learned about many Korean traditional cultures in the Namsan Hanok Village. First, I learned about Jangdokdae. Jangdokdae is a storage that store the fermentation food. For example, Jangdokdae can store the Kimchi, soy beansauce etc. Jangdoakdae has a tiny hole, and the air can enter or get out go through the hole, but water and dust can't go thrugh. So I think Korean was clever. Second, I learned about Sarangchae, Anchae, Haengrangchae. Sarangchae is the room that the men live. Also, Sarangchae is near to the door. And Anchae is the room that the women stayed such as mom and daughter. Also, Anchae is near to the kitchen, becuase the women do the chores in the Joseon dynasty. And Hangrangchae is the room that servant lived. And I learned about stone level. If the level is 1, that means the house's owner is noble man, if the level is 2, that means the people lived in that house is high noble man. If there are 3 level, that means that house's owner is royal families, and if there are 5levels, that is palace. |
