Hello! I'm Peter. I want to talk about SEOUL MUSEUM OF HISTORY !
King Teajo founded Joseon dynasty in 1392.
And he built many buildings. Such as Jongmyo and 5 palaces.
He chose Hanyang for capital of Joseon, because of its beautiful nature and central location.
Hanyang is surrounded by 4 main gates.
There are the east , west , south , north gate.
These gates protected Hanyang for 500 years.
In museum, there are many historical things .
So I will talk which are important and interesting.
First is Epic poem(용비어천가). It was the first book written in Korean. And written by Chinese chracters.
Hopae(호패) was an ID card. people showed this to the gatekeeper before they entered the gate.
Finally, I will introduce Umbilical cord jar.
In this jar, there are Umbilical cord of a prince or princess.
and people buried the jar with a stone which had the name and the date of the birth of the baby.
After I went to Seoul museum of history, I thought our ancesters are very wise and sagacious.
I want to emulate the ancesters so that we can be more comfortable.
