This wasn't the only day I went to National Museum of Korea. But when I heard my teacher's introuduction, there was still a lot I need to know.

Every time I look at the artifact I got more and more interrest at it. And I was suddenly going back to 70,000 BC. It was Ice age at first. Peoples cold and hungry. THe first human beings began to walk upright and communicute about three million years ago.During the time of the Ice Age, people lived in caves. At that time, the first tools that man used were made of stone. Ancient people hunted animals using stone. The hand axe was commonly used for hunting. And time passed neolithic period beganed. After the Ice Age, people started building houses and living together. They also started to live near the sea or fresh water. Because they had already started fishing and farming for their food. Ofcourse During the Ice Age, there was not often enought food. therefore, they need pottery to store food. Beacuse of this reasons Comb-pattern pottery was borned. Now people started to know how to make Bronze. During the Bronze Age, people became more advanced. They made bronze daggers instead of stone knives. One of them are named Madolin shaped sword. THe blade and grip were made separately and then combined. THis is unique and quite different from how it was done in China. Do you know a story about a bear and a tiger wishing to make them into a human to Hwanung. Well almost everybody knows that story, and somebody will know that it was the of the kingdom. THe kingdom's name was Gojoseon. SNd split into three. One was Goguryeo, the other was Baekje and the last one is called Silla.

Jumong established Goguryeo in 37 BC. According to a legend, Jumong was born from an egg. He was very good at archery. In the fifth century, Goguryeo was the most powerful nation in Northeast Asia.

WHen I look in to all the things that had been hiden under the groun for more than 1000 years. An when you look, really look at it, you will see those tiny thing cut in just the right size. maybe today, It a pice of cake, but at that time we have to say they were better than us. Anyway I'm so proud of my ancestor.
