Everyday we can see many diffirent artifacts, but we just passed them like we don't even care. Well that was what I had been doing all these years... but today was diffirent. I'll never forget this trip. No not this one.
Big Big door was standin front of me with it's beatifull patterns. Blue, White, Black, Green, Red, yellow making a harmony. At that first time this is diffirent from the trip me and my family tooked.
Cross Heungnyemun, cross Geunjeongmun, and there it was over the bridge call 영제교,was Geunjeongjeon. Wow totally amazing! It gota golden dragon on the cilling which was playing with um... a ball. It got a seven claws which present the king. And the throne just look at it. isn't it gorgeous??? One moon and one sun. The moon means queen, The sun means the king. The pointy montain was 5 which also means king. and the wather full two of them. And the pine tree in the front. It mean loyer offical of king.
You moght think this is the end, but is't just a begining. Next was Sajeaongjeon. It is the king's daily working office. The king and his officers gathered together here to discuss political affairs and to study confucian canon.
I suddenly got confused. There was everything in Gyeongbokgung palace, almost everything. Where does king and queen sleeps? It didn't take long for me to find out. Gangneongjeon is the king's living quater. The king and queen had their own living quarter.
Gyotaejeon is the queen's living quarter.
And also they must have a place where grandmother and gtandfather of king sleeps. Jugyeongjeon is the king's mother and father's living quarter.
Gyeongheeru is a large pavilion for resting and hosting parties. This is the official party place.
Hyangwonjeong was a resting place for the royal family. It was also a place where king rest. The square of Hyangwonjeog symbolizes the earth, and the circle symbolizes heaven. My legs were weakining. I'm suprised and also proud that I have a wise ancestor |
