Seoul museum of History had many datas of Seoul. In 1392, in King Taejo's order, the capital city of Korea changed from Gaegyung (Gaesung) to Hanyang (now Seoul).
In front of the museum room No.1. there were Hanyang's map, Mr. Vegas told us our location and locations of Jeoson palaces. After that, I saw the Jeoson kings and embroidefed patterns pg the Goverment services. Cranes symbolized government officials and tigers symbolized millitary officials. Only king and prince could wore cloths that is embroidered dragons. I also saw the Hopae and umbilical cord jar.
There were 6 parts divided in Seoul. They are Bukcheon, Jungchon, Unjongga, Namchon, Yukjogeri, and Seongjeo sibri. Bucheon is villages od nobles. Jungcheon is village for technical officers. Namchon is a village for poor noblemans. Unjongga was the biggest store of Seoul. Yukjo street was the symbol og Joseon. It's now Sejong-no, Jong-no gu. There were inportant goverment buildings. Seongjeo sibri sere Hanyang's distriction near ten ris.(Korea measure of length) It's almost 4 kilometers.
I knew that prince' s umbilical cord was put on the special jar and they buried it. In R.E.P time, we made discussion about the class systemls good and bad points. The class system was unfair, but there were also good points of class system. |
