Today, I visited the Gyeongungung palace. After the Japanese invasion, people changed Duksugung to  Gyeongungung again. I was most interested in Seokeodang and Jeonggwangheon. There are many sad and interesting stories about them.

First, I want to talk about Seokeodang. Seokeodang is the place that has 2 floors. It also doesn't have Dangchung and Japsang which is on most of the buildings. It is because Seokeodang was the house for Wolsandaegun. After him, Inmok the queen was locked inside Seokeodang because of the order of King Gwanghaegun.

Second, I liked Jeonggwanheon, too. It is a interesting place because the western style of architecture and the Korean style of architecture were combined. You can find bricks, carpet, chandeliers and more. King Gojong used to drink coffee here.

In conclusion, I liked today's visit. Today was very exhausted because of the weather. I was the most surprised about Jeonggwangheon because the koran and Western architectural designs were combined. I want to come again and learn more about Japanese invasion.
