I never liked Museums, Folk things and history, but I guess it is better than I thought it would be. I had this thought because of National Folk Museum that I went to today. When we got there, our team first went to the marriage section. Mr.Vagas said that it was his favorite section there. At the marriage section, I saw a lot of beautiful wedding dresses, and I personaly think that Korea and Vietnam has the most beautiful weddig dresses. Beside the marriage section, I liked the models of the Korean traditional houses. There were Thatched - roof house, which has straws for the roof. It was where normal people lived. Secondly, I saw a Shingle - roofed house, which looked like it could block rain, snow, hail etc... better than the Thatched - roof house. They looked real, but they weren't.
I also learned about stemmed arrowes, too! They are a kind from the arrows. The back part of a stemmed arrow was pointy, and I guess that it'll make the arrow to be much more stabled. This was my first time I visited to the National Folk Museum, but I learned a lot and I think I got closer to history and museums! :) |
