South Korea, Korea has 19 national museums. Seoul itself has 4 of them. I visited one of the museum listed in Seoul, the National Folk Museum of Korea. It was located in Seoul within the grounds of Gyeongbokgung Palace. The museum emphasized history beginning from prehistoric period to the end of Joseon dynasty.

I have learned a number of things about Korean folk history. And I want to point out few. This is because I have a general interest in such things. So when I decided to visit the National Folk Museum of Korea, I was excited to test my knowledge and see what new things I could learn. There are three major exhibitions for you to investigate: 1. History of Korea People, 2. The Korean Way of Life, and 3. Lifecycle of Koreans. Each was interesting and provided enough artifacts and models to please my curiosity.

From ice age it comes after the Paleolithic age where people began to walk and communicate in sounds about millions of years ago. Then Neolithic period was introduced, many people began to build thatched and brought the agriculture. They also built a group of society. After that it was Bronze age, Go-Joseon, and so on. As the Shilla Kingdom got established, they made a capital known as Gyeon- ju. For thousands of years, it was a great concentration of historic buildings, such as building temples and different kinds of artifacts. After Shilla unified, the city have developed into one of the major country over the world. This area is known as ‘museum without wall’ because of its’ many wealth buildings.

Next thing I learned was to make Kimchi. First, soak the cabbage in salt water. Once it is salted rinse the cabbage for three times in cold mineral water. Then pack in the cabbage with spices and cover it with outer leaves. In winter, Kimchi is stored in giant clay pots. The clay pots help to ferment Kimchi by letting it breathe. I became conceited and arrogant of living in a nation known as Korea because that we had still preserved traditional cultures and how much acquaintances that our ancestors had during those times. I have learned ‘The lifestyle of the Korean People’ and the traditional changes occurred during periods and ages to modern days.

Thank 'YOU' very much...I am looking for next day which is our last day...
