About Ongyucheon
¾öÀ¯Çö
Hello
my English name is Joella. Today I want to explain to you about Ongyucheon.
Ongyucheon is the stream that is part of the back garden of Changdeokgung palace. There are many pavilions around Ongyucheon. During the reign of king ÀÎÁ¶, they carved a rock
called ¼Ò¿ä¾Ï and made a waterfall. Some kings loved Ongyucheon very much. They inscribed
Chinese characters on the rocks. The important thing about Ongyucheon is that
the king, King¡¯s friends and servants relaxed and write poems. Also there is a
straw-roofed building which is a pavilion that the king could experience a
farmer¡¯s life called ûÀÇÁ¤.
Thank you
