Today I went to the seodaemun prison history hall with my friends. It is made to torture our patriots and stop Korean citizens from thinking about liberty. Seodaemun prison history hall is located next to the 'Independence Arche' on purpose. Lots of freedom fighters got tortured and died here unfairly. I saw lots of torture tools and how they use it. It was terrible. One of the famous freedom fighter is Yu Gwan Sun. She is unique because she was a woman and was young. She said, "Because I am a citizen of Joesun, people from Japan can't rule me." she is real brave. I wouldn't be brave enough to change my life with liberty. I am always thankful to them and honor them. I hope this sad history will make Korea develop. |
