Today, It was the first time in MARIE STORY. The teammates and I went to Gyung Bok Gung today, and I was very surprised to hear about the history of Gwang Wha Mun. So I want to tell the story to everyone in this posting.                                                                                             

Gwang Wha Mun is one of the most representative thing for Gyung bok Gung. It is the main gate of Gyung Bok Gung, but it has several sad stories.

     When the Japanese Invasion (Imjin war) happened, Gwang Wha Mun was destroyed. Then Heung Sun Dae Won Gun, the father of Emperor Gojong, rebuilt it there. Afterwards, while the japanese occupation, the japanes rebuilt Gwang Wha Mun on the East side of the palace, because there was the Japanese-Korean colonial governmenton the east side. About 3 years after Korea was not colonial anymore, the Korean war happened. while the Korean war, Gwang Wha Mun was HEAVILY damaged. Then President Park Jung Hee rebuilt it. Lastly, in 2010, Gwang Wha Mun was replaced to it's orginal location at last.
