Hello, my name is Tony. My essay is about interesting Things in Joseon.

Today, I went to Seoul Museum of History. I haven't been to Seoul Museum of History before. So I was very excited. I learned lots of things.

Joseon was established by King Taejo in 1392. Taejo chose Hanyang for the new capital city in 1394. It's because Hanyang was in the center of Korea and it had mountains and rivers around it. Especially, Han-river were good to trade and catch fish.

Joseon's palaces except Gyeongbokgung palace had names. Donggwol was the name of Changdeokgung and Changgyeonggung and seogwol was the name of Gyeonghuigung and Gyeongungung.

In the Seoul Museum of History, there were also many relics. There was an Umbilical Cord Jar. When princes and princesses were born, they put their umbilical cord in ir and buried it. There was Hopae, too which was an ID card in Joseon. On the front, there was a name, class and the date of birth. On the back, there was the date of issue.

When we walked some more from Hopae, we saw the clothes which had Embroidered Patterns called Hyungbae on it. Heungbae was very beautiful. It represented what works they do. Kings and princes could have dragon patterns.

Crane patterns meant integrity and civil officers had it. Tiger patterns represented bravery which were military officers'.

We saw Jagyeongnu which was made by Jangyeongsil ringing. First, pasuho's water went to Jungsuho and Jungsuho's water moved to sosuho. Sosuho water went into susuho and few seconds later, doll hit a buk. I believe that in susuho, small marble came out and hit the bigger mable, so big marble rolled and hit the doll's arm. It was very very interesting.

I think I learned so much about Korean history in The Seoul Museum of History. I think Korea exist here well-developed because people like Jangyeongsil and King Taejo worked hard. I want to go Seoul Museum of History with my family. Thank you for listening.
