First, blue roofs show the palace is a important place. I think that it's important, because it can show where's the most important place.

Next, there are the animals that are on the roof, and they are called the 'Japsang. They are the one in the book 'Journey to the west'. I think that they're important because it can show the belief in these type of myths.

Finally, the three Chinese scholar trees mean the three top officials, and was meant to protect the palace from evil spirits. I think this is also important, because it can show the tradition they believed.
