Hello everyone. My name is Roy. I would like to introduce the Tripitaka Koreana, Goryeo celadon, the Korean alphabet, and the Hoon-min-jeng -eum.

Pal man dae jang gyeong was made during Koryo period. At that time, Mongol empire invaded Koryo. The war can`t be end easily. Pepole of koryo wanted to defeat the Mongols by Budda`s power. So they made more then 80,000 buddism wood blocks. I was suprised. If I were king, I would never order to make that during the war.

Goryeo celadon is a pottery with a clear delicate blue green glaze. Its color is very beatiful. Originally China invented it, but Goryeo used inlaying technique to make the celadon more beatiful.

The Hoon min jeng eum is the Korean alphabet. King Sejong was worried that common pepole could not learn the Chinese characters. Hangul is the best alphabet in the world. It`s also very easy to learn. And it`s very scientific too.
