Ladies and gentleman, I am here to introduce you about the history I learned at the National Folk Museum of Korea. I will like to explain mostly about Tripitaka Koreana and Goryeo Celadon.
Mr. (madam) listener, first of all I will like to explain about the spirit letter- Tripitaka Koreana. Tripitaka Koreana is also called Palmandaejanggyeong(팔만대장경). It was made during the Goryeo period. Isn’t it unbelievable that the people that lived in the past used 81,258 woodblocks?
Now let me move on and tell you about the Goryeo Celadon. Celadon is the name of the pottery with a clear, delicate, blue-green glaze. Goryeo was famous for this because Goryeo was the best at making this.
To sum up, what have I told you today? I told you about the Tripitaka Koreana and Goryeo Celadon. Ladies and gentleman I prefer you to go to the National Folk Museum of Korea and learn a lot like me. Thank You. |
