Today,I went to Unhyungung Palace. In there,I learned about Heunseon Daewongun, who King Gojong's father lived there. However, there is not an official palace.

Heunseon Daewongun was very poor before King Gojong became a king. Before he get lots of power,he lived with gangsters and act like fool, because if anybody know he was smart,he could be murder by Andong Kims.

Noan dang is a place where Heunseon Daewongun lived and sarangchae of Unhyungung Palace. It means 'live comfortabley in old age'.The next side of Noan dang, there is a place where Heunseon Daewongun's special servant lived.

Next of Noan dang, there is  Norak dang.In Norak dang,Heunseon Daewongun's wife lived there. Also, young Gojong grew in there and King Gojong and Queen Myeongseong held wedding ceremony in there.

Thank you for reading my essay.
