Today, I went to Changgyeonggung. The weather was nice and Changgyeonggung palace really beautiful.
Changgyeonggung was home to the kings and queens of Korea. But one day, a terrible fire came and burned down the palace. The king and queen were very sad.
They rebuilt the palace, but then another sad thing happened. War came to Korea, and the palace was destroyed again. We were even sadder than before.
The most sad thing that happened in Changgyeong is the died of Joseon's prince crown prince sado.
I had a great time at Changgyeonggung. And I thought it was important to remember sad history in order not to repeat it again. |
