Have you ever been to Seoul Baekje Museum?
I went to that place to learn about Baekje. And, I would like to introduce the golden age and falling of Baekje.
First, Baekje had the golden age for the first time among the three kingdoms. because of its geographical advantages.
In the 4th century, when King Geunchogo ruled Baekje, Baekje was the most powerful kingdom among Goguryeo, Baekje and Silla. So, Geunchogo attacked Goguryeo and won. The country also accepted the Buddhism when King Chimryu ruled Baekje. And they could take the iron while exchanging many things with Gaya.
But, after the golden age, Baekje started to collapse.
After Goguryeo's attack, Baekje lost the Han River.
So, they had been weakened.
Finally, Baekje was collapsed by the Silla-Dang united.
It was disappointing that Baekje was collapsed first,
because Baekje had the Golden age for the first time during the three kingdom's age. I think Baekje would have had the strongest army.
Anyway, it was good to learn about Baekje. |
