Unhyungung Palace was the personal house of Heungsun Daewongun, the father of King Gojong.

King Gojong was also lived in this house until the age of twelve,when he became king.There are three big buildings that called Noandang, Norackdang and Irodang.

 First, the Noandang was Sarangchae of Unhyungung, men's living area. Heungsun Daewongun died here.

 Second, the Norakdang was the Anchae(women's living area) of Unhyungung. King Gojong and Empress Meongseong's wedding ceremorny was held here.

 The last, Irodang was like a second Anchae. Heongsun Daewongun's wife, Budea Buin stayed here becouse King Gojong Married and Heongsun Daewongun's family couldn't use Norakdang any more.

 There are more relics there I suggest you to visit Unhyungung.
