Today I went to Unhyungung Palace. 

Unhyungung Palace was originaliy the house of  Heungseon Daewongun.

But when his son, Gojong became king, it became a palace. But it's size is too small, so it is not a official palace. 

Unhyungung Palace is made of sarangche, the men's living qarters, and anche, the women's living qarters, and the henglangche, the guard's and servant's living qarters.

In  Unhyungung Palace, the sarangche is Noandang, the anche is Norakdang and Irodang, and the henglangche is Sujiksa.

The reason there are two anches is Empress Myeongseong started to live in Norakdang, so Heungseon Daewongun made Irodang for his wife.

Later, Empress Myeongseong was murdered by the Japanese. This tragedy made Korean people angry and act against Japan.
