At National Folk Museum Today was my first experience of Damduk Story. I like history and English so I thought doing English and history toghether would be fun. And it was extraordinary fun, more than I expected. I learned about prehistoric period to Josun Dynasty. The most interesting thing was how to calculate A.D. and B.C. B.C. means before Christ. Let me show you the example of calculation. This year is the year 2013 and If you want to know how much time have passed from B.C. 400, you need to add 2013 and 400. Then you get 2413. So that mean B. C. 400 is 2413 years ago. Isn't it interesting? Another thing that I was interested in was what old people did in each season. When Spring comes, farmers get ready to plant the seeds and plant them. In summer, they wait for the plants to grow and pull out the weeds. They also make cool clothes. In autum farmers harvest their crops and get ready for winter. In winter they process the food like making Kimchi. Being a part of Damduk story was a great experience. I can't wait for the next class. I appreciate to my teachers and friends in my group today. I hope we meet again. -Dawon Lee-
