I learned about changdeokhung palace. I will choose 3 places and write about the purpose of the building and why it is valuable. First, I will wirte about donhwamun. It is the oldest and the largest gate amoung 5gates. There was ring and drumb and ring was rung in 4am 33times and in 10pm 28times. THe drum was beaten at noon. Secondly, I picked Injeongjeon. It is the main hall in changdeokgung palace. It held many formal events like coronation. Also king recieved foreign visitors here. Lastly, I picked Seonjeongjeon. It is the king's official office. King discuss about national affairs. There 2people who write what king said and what king did. So when king die then it was published in book. Seonjeongjeong is the only building has blue tiled roof. Nowdays, 청와대 has blue tiled roof. Therefore, I picked donhwamun, Injeongjeon and Seonjeongjeon. It is valuable because we can see the lifestyle of king and know the history of country. Thank you |
