National Folk Museum was really busy with foreigners when I went there today, because it's the capital museum of Korea. The most impressive thing that I learned today with my teacher was the process of making kimchi. To make kimchi, there are steps. First, we soak the cabbage in salt water. Second, rinse the salted cabbage three times in cold water. Third, put spicy ingredients into the cabbage. Next, wrap that cabbage wih the outer leaves. Lastly, put the cabbage into the clay pot, and wait until the kimchi is finished making, I like kimchi very much because it's so delicious. I think korean people can't live without kimchi because it's korean's traditional food. The spicy ingredients consist of ginger, garlic and pepper. Also, there are 200 different kinds of kimchi in Korea. It was really fun learning in National Folk Museum. Thank you. |
