Today morning, me and my friends went to tje Damduck Intensive. We were afraid when we came to here because it felt academical and there were some foreigners. But, after the introduction of themselves, I felt less-afraid and kind of friendly about others.

After that, we went to Namsan Hanok village and  we learned about the differences of Sarangchae and Anchae. In a big comparison, they are different in two ways.  First, Anchae had kitchen but Sarangchae didn't. Saecond, Anchae wsa for women but Sarangchae was for men and main quarters. Next, we learned that stairs of the house tell the class of the owner. If the stairs are higher, it means the owner's class is high as the stairs. Also, we learned about the technology of heating and cooling system. Ondol makes the rooms warm, and the ventilation system helps the rooms cool. Last, we learned about what  noblemen did for fortune. They put things that is the symbol of fortune on the top of the roofs, also they put the signboard in the column and they prayed to ancestors in the Shrine.

I think our ancestors were so wise and I was so proud about it. I think now I can compare about Sarangchae and Anchae. It was very wonderful time.
