We eat, we sleep, and play. We all just live our ordinary daily life. But how did we, the human beings, come to be? The universe was formed at about 15 billion years ago when an explosion commonly known as the 'Big Bang' happened. The years later, Earth, the planet we live on was formed about 4.6 billion years from now. When the Earth was formed, it looked like a big ball of fire, for its surface was covered with magma. However, after years of raining, the Earth began to look more like how it does now. It began to show land and the ocean. But this wasn't enough for living creatures to walk on the surface of the Earth. What made the living life possible was the Cyanobacteria which produced oxegen through photosynthesis. Thanks to the Cynobacteria, the Earth was soon filled with oxegen, and therefore awakened various living creatures. Time went on, and the Earth went through the Precambarian Era and the Paleozoic Era, bringing the Mesozoic Era; the age of the dinosaurs. Dinosaurs are creatures that existed on the planet Earth during the Mesozoic Era. They could be assorted into two types of dinosaurs; the herbivores and the carnivores. The herbivourous dinosaurs' main diet was vegetation, so their teeth were flat. Also, they usually had horns in order to protect themselves. On the other hand, the carnivorous dinosaurs lived off of meat, which developed the dinosaurs into having sharp teeth. During this Era, the dinosaurs dominated the Earth. However they did not reign for long. At the end of the Era yhe dinosaurs disappeared and became extinct. Then came the Cenozoic Era and the history of mamals started. Animals evolved and changed, becoming more like the present-day animals. Also, the human evolution happend. The mankimd started off as Australopithecus. They had a lot of fur and their brains were smaller than the present-day human beings. Then the Australopithecus evolved into Home Erectus, and Home Erectus to Homo Sapiens and so on. Then finally the Homo Sapiens Sapiens appeared they were wiser than the Australopithecus for they had bigger brains. Their jaws became smaller for people figured out how to cook. And so, this is how we, the human beings have come to live on this planet, Earth. |
