Hello, my name is Nayoung Kim.Today, I went to the ChangGyeongGung Palace.It was the first time to visit there to me so, I was so excited.

 First, King Seongjong built ChangGyeongGung Palace for his mother and grandmother in 1493.I thought King Seongjong's mother and grandmother were very lucky to got a palace for them. ChangGyeongGung Palace is seperated into three parts.The parts are outer palace,inner palace,and back garden.

 Second, ChangGyeongGung Palace has many buildings. The main gate of the palace is Honghwamun, and there is a bridge names Okcheongyo in front of the gate. There are two facts of Okcheongyo, the bridge.One of it is the bridge was for connected normal land and the king's land. And another fact is the people who lived in Joseon Dynasty across the bridge, then their spirits get clean from the water which one that passed through the bridge. It shows the people's respection of the king.If I was a king of Joseon Dynasty, people will obey me so I would live the better life.

 Finally,my favorite one was Dancheong.Dancheong is the colorful Korean-styled decorations. It was painted on the palaces and Buddist temples.Also,Dancheong consists of five colors.The colors are Red,Black,Green,Blue,White,and yellow.Each color has its own symbol, and they represent five elements which make up the universe.I was suprised about people in Joseon Dynasty can also made many beautiful colors from nature.I had a great time at ChangGyeongGung Palace today.
