Hello~ My name is Minseo Kim. Today I went to the ChangGyeongGung Palace. King Seongjong made ChangGyeongGung Palace in 1483 for his mother and grandmother. This Palace was burned in 1592 because of the Japanese Invasion. So it was rebuilt in 1616 by King gwanghaegun. Now I will talk about sad things about ChangGyeongGung Palace . First, Lady Jang was killed in this palace. Second, crown prince Sado was killed by his father Jeongjo in the rice chest. Last, Japan made ChangGyeongGung Palace to a zoo and once it became a 창경원, but it was restored in 1984. We can devide ChangGyeongGung Palace's structure to 3 palaces. Outer Palace, Inner Palace, and Back Garden. Myeongjeongjeon, 문정전 and 송문당 are a Outer Palace. Outer Palace is used for a official works or a events like civil service ewam and a Poyal Family's Wedding. 경춘정, 환경전, 양화당 and 통명전 are the Inner Palace. It is used for the daily life of the royal family. The Back Garden is a place for the royal family's rest. 춘당지 and 관덕정 are the Back Garden that is left in the ChangGyeongGung Palace.
