I went to Gyeongbokgung palace. I leared about Gyeongbokgung palace in English.It was more fun than I thought it would be. Today I saw lots of things but, I want to tell you about bakseuk

Bakseuk are rocks on the ground. It looks like normal rocks but it does lots of things.

There are three things bakseuk does.

First, when it rains the gaps in the bakseuk makes the rain go out of the palace like a drain.

Second, when the king is speaking he doesn't have a mike so he bakseuk helps the king's voice sound loud by reflecting the sound.

Third, bakseuk helps reflect the sound but makes the sunlight not reflect so the king doesn't get his skin burned or tanned or get his eyes hurt. Bakseuk doesn't look that helpful, but I knew today that it is. I felt again that our ancestors are really clever.
