Today, I went to Gyeongbokgung Palace. Gyeongbokgung was the main palace and the largest palace gyeongbokgung means "the palace of great fortune."
Geunjeongjeon is a part of the outer palace in Gyeongbokgung. It is the thrown hall and also the main building of the palace. In Gunjeongjeon, there are rings(차일고리) for ceremonys, iron bowls(드므) for fires.
Sajeongjeon is a part of the outer palace. It is the king's daily working office. Yhere are 2 annexes called 'Cheonchujeon and Manchunjeon.' They were during the winter.
Gangneongjeon is a part of the inner palace. It is the king's living quarter.
Finally, Gyeonghoeru is a place for resting and hosting parties. |
