I went to Unhyungung Palace today. I want to talk about Sujiksa and the Anchae.

Sujiksa is the resting place of servents and gards. If Andong Kim come to kill Heungsun Daewongun, they have to protect him. Sujiksa is in front of the gate, next to Noandang, the place where Heungsun Daewongun lived. In case, another Sujiksa is in Noandang.

The Anchae is the women's quarters. It is devided into two places, which is Norakdang and Irodang.

Norakdang is the place where Empress Myeongsong received lessons to become a queen. The marridge of King Gojong and Empress Myeongsong was heled there. Norakdang is also the largest area and in the center of Unhyungung.

Irodang is a place which is another Anchae. After the marrige of King Gojong and Empress Myeongsong, Heungsun Daewongun's family couldn't use Norakdang anymore. So Irodang was built as an another Anchae. Heungsun Daewongun's wife stayed here.
