Today I went to National Folkmuseum. I learned about Koreans life, how people lived according to differenet seasns and the history of Korea. A Korean life starts from birth. When a boy is born people hang straw rope with redpepper and charcoal on. When a girl is born people hang straw ropes with pine brances and charcoal. When a baby reaches its 100th day of birth the baby's family celebrate. They give rice cakes to their neigbors becuase they thought by giving rices cakes to  their neigbors their baby could live longer. It was very intresting to know why people celebrated the baby's 100th day of birth and 60th birthday. I was becuase at that time many babies died before their 100th day of birth and many people died around 40~50. I felt lucky that I'm living in a time with developed medical system.
