today I went to 경복궁, The 경복궁 is the biggest palace in josun dynasty. the 경복 represent the great fourtune in chinis character. When we leaved the car, infront of me I can see the huge gate and the 3m tall wall after that.We had easily recognized that the huge gate was the 광화문. The 광화문 is the main gate of the 경복궁. It is the gate of the south. After the 광화문 we saw the gate kipper changing ceremony. We passed the cerremony and derectly go to the 근정전. 근정전 is the main building of the 경복궁. Their was the place where the hugr ceremonhy happened such as the king's marragement. Infront of the 근정전 we saw the rankingstone. Each person have to stand after the rankingstone. the ranking is getteing higher if the place of the stone is closer to the 근정전. Nextly we studied 경회루. 경회루 is the place where the king had a officl party. The king 세종 had a partyfor 훈민정음 in this place the pillow of the 경회루 is mage by the 천원지방설, that represent tht the sky(heven)is cercle and the land(earth ) is square. so the pillow that is at out side is the suqure and another is circle. After that we visite the 향원정. Next to the 향원정 there is the first lightbull in the kora. and the first electronic reacter is under the water of 향원정. Most importantly that the 향원정 is the kings loyal familys private party place. When the lake froze in the winter the 고종 had time doing skateing.
by this trip I knew many thing that I didn'tknow about 경복궁 especially the 향원정. Yesterdays's lunch was fantastic |
