Do you know national museum? National museum was in colonial government administration building one but it move to 용산 because that building was destroyed. Today, I went to national museum and learn many things, but I'll just introduce about golden crown from Silla, handaxe in stone age, and dolmens because I'm interested in that three.
First, there was Silla's golden crown. Silla's gold craft is better than other dynasties so there were many golden crown. It's very shiny and detail. It's very heavy too. It was used for just important ceremonies. I think it's shape is very specific.
Second, there was handaxe in stone age. Handaxe is made out of stone of course. I heard that it's very popular in everywhere in the world. It used for digging, chopping the tree, and hunt the animals. We cann grab with just one hand.
Lastly, there was dolmen. Dolmen is a tomb for tribe's leader. There are many steps to make it. First, stand up two stones on the ground. Second, make a hill with the dirt. Third, put a capstone on the hill, and last, take out a dirts. Dolmen represents tribe's leader's power so if dolme is big, it means that dolmen's master is strong.
I think the records from three dynasties are very wonderful, for example, 무구정광 대 다라니경. And I hope we can find more treasures from 3 dynasties and change historical theories. |
