Today, I went to Namsan Hanok village and saw tiled roof house which is one of the four main buildings in Joseon dynasty. The power of one was shown by the lofty gates, number of Kans, and the height of stone foundation. The tiled roof house had many structure such as Sarangchae, Anchae,and Hangnangchae.There was also shrine, and the storage, which was for worshipping ancestors and for storing agricultural tools. The large number of agricultural tools shows that agriculture was important then at Joseon dynasty. I also saw chamber pots, heating system called Ondol, and Jukvuin.

The houses were like a maze, but I was able to learn about the lifestyle of our ancestors.
