Today I visited the Seodaemun prison hall. It was established in 1908. While I was there I saw lots of stuffs and learned lots of things. I saw things such as iron chains and handcuffs. They were used for preventing escape of prisoners. Then we went to the basement which shows how the freedom fighters of our country were tormented. At the basement I learned about lots of torture such as water torture which is a torture that makes you feel like you are drowning and the fingernail torture which is a torture that puts a stick inside your fingernail. Then we saw the box torture and the wall coffin torture. They were both not a good way to torment people. Also we saw lots of independence fighters such as Yu-Kwansun, an-Junggun, and yoon- Bonggil. Finally we went to the execution buildings were the independence fighter¡¯s executions were held. I think this trip was a good experience for me.
