Today, I went to the Seodaemun prison history hall. 1908, Japanese built it to imprison patriots and freedom fighters. After Korea won back its independence, Korean used it until 1987. There are many ways to torture such as water torture, finger nail torture, box torture, and wall coffin torture.

First, there is a water torture. Prisoners are hung upside down and water with spicy things is put in their eyes, nose and ears.

Next, there is a finger nail torture. Prisoners are hit by sharp things under their finger nails many times.

And then, there is a box torture. The box used at box torture is covered with nail inside. People are put in that box and shaken.

Finally, there is a wall coffin torture. The wall coffin is very thin and small so prisoners can't move. They even cannot go to bathroom. They are locked up in the wall coffin a few days without foods or drinks.

Overall it is very respectful for patriots and freedom fighters to endure these tortures.
