Today, we wnt to Seodaemun Prison History Hall. It's where our Korean freedon fighters were imprisoned. They were tortured and killed here. Seodaemun Prison History Hall is a meaningful place to us.

 Seodaemun Prison History hall was built by Japanese next to the Independence gate to crush the hopes of Koreans. Koreans built the Independence Gate before the Japanese built Seodaemun Prison History Hall.

 Patriots were tortured in many ways and they were in terrible conditions. For example, there were fingernail torture, water torture, wall coffin torture, and large nail box torture. Also, they were forced to work more than 10 hours a day, some of them tried to look like they had a disease.

 I thaught we should be thankful and hold respect for our ancestors for fighting for independence from Japan. If they hadn't fought against Japan, we wouldn'y be able to live a life like this. Lastly, I don't think they deserved such terrible treatment just fighting for their country.
