Last Sunday(2 days ago) I went to Amsadong prehistoric site. We learned everything about prehistoric age. Prehistoric age is divided to therr perts, which are Paleolethic age, Neolithic age, abd Bronze age. Humans appeared in the world seven million years ago, and came to korea seven hundred thousand years ago. Paleolethic age started seven hundred thousand years ago, which means paleolethic age is the start of the human history in korea. Paleolethic age is also known as 'old stone age.' In paelolethic age, humans lived in caves, and did not know agreculture. Humans hunted animals and ate berries, and they used chopped stones to hunt. One of the most known Paleolethic age age tools are hand-axes. Since they did not know farming, humans migrated when they`re out of food. About eight thousand years ago, neolithic age started. In neolithic age, tool were grinded and polished, which allowed humans to gather more food easily. There were also comb-pattern potteries. They were used to store food and cook food. Comb-pattern potteries had pointy bottombecause people lived on sandy riversides, and pointy bottoms made it easier to keep upright in the sand. Potteries in neolithic age had four main reasons of having comb-patterns. The reasons are, to prevent cracking, to make it easier to hold, to prey for rain, and for decoration. In neolithic age, people still hunted and ate berries, but they also ate crops, fish, and nuts. Neolithic age humans used grinding stones and stone pestles to crack and eat nuts. People started farming at the end of the neolithic age. This action is called 'neolithic revolution.' Neolithic people lived in pit houses. They had only one room. It had kitchens, workshops, and other things in just one room, which was suprising. In bronze age, humans started to use bronze and started building dolmens. This place was a fun place, so I want to come back here with my parents sometime in the future. |
