Hello~ my name is Lee soeun, and english name is AnnA!!! Today, I went to the 고궁 museum. I talk about Joseon Dynasty. The general of Gorteo, 이성계, overthrew 고려 and established the Joseon Dynasty in 1392. His son, 태종 strengttened the power of the king, and his son '세종' led the gloden age of Joseon. 세종 invanted Korea alphabet, 한글. 이성계 founding the Joseon Dynasty, king 태조 moved the capita from 개경, the capital city of 고려 to 한양, because the buddhist influnce was still strong and the people of 개경 still admired the 고려 king. And 한양 was beautiful nature and central location. He first built 종묘 and 사직 first and then built the palaces, 경복, 경희, 경운, 창경, 창덕 palaces. 한양 was surrouded by the city and gates, the foru main gates.
