Hi! my name is Ryan. I will tell you about my trip to the national museum of Korea.

The first exhibit we entered was the paleloithic exhibit. When I entered this exhibit the first thing I saw was the hand axe (see picture at bottom) . The hand axe is a tool made from stone. Its usage were continuous such as hunting and peeling of skin from animals etcetera. I saw the hand axes and saw they were in diffrent shapes and sizes. I think that it evolved sharper and lighter as many years passed. After the palelolithic age exhibit I went to the neolithic peoriod exhibit. There were some changes in the lifestyle btween the neolithic period nad the palelolithic period. First of all the people in the neolithic agonly lasted for ae started agriculture and fishing. Because of this reason the people lived near rivers. Also people stared storing food in a clay bowl called comb patterned pottery (see picture at bottom). The pottery had a sharp bottom beacause the pottery had to stay upright in the floor. After the neolithic exhibit I went to the 3 kingdoms period exhibit. the 3 contries were goguryeo, Silla, and Beakje. Their was also a contry called Gaya but Gaya only lasted 500 years. Even though Gaya was a small contry, Gaya had awsome ironworks. Out of all the 3 kingdoms I liked the Silla kingdom the best. I liked Silla beacause it had a lot of gold artifacts. According to Korean records, Silla was founded by King Park Hyeokgeose in 57 BC around present-day gyeongju.

Overall I liked this trip but it was sad because I didn't get to see all fo the goguryeo exhibit.
