I went to the National Folk Museum. I learned about Hunminjeongeum(훈민정음) which king sejong made.
A long time ago there were only chinese characters in Joseon. It was ver hard to read, and king Sejong wanted to fix it. So king Sejong decided to make an easier writing system. That's why king Sejon made Hunminjeongeum. I thought about how hard it would be to make a writing system when it is so hard even to learn it. Even though king Sejong used so much time and effort to this, the noble class people disagreed because they had already learned chinese characters and they didn't want less of their abilities. Also they could order around the common people who don't konw the chinese characters.
I am so glad king Sejong strongly proposed making Hunminjeongeum and completed it so the people of the future found it so much easier to learn Korean.
