Today I went to the war museum and saw a life size turtle ship. It was smaller than I though, but it was still impressive. When I was young, my favorite thing was the turtle ship.  So, I will tell you about the turtle ship which rush into the battle field.

 The turtle ship is a ship wich was made by general lee during  imjin war.  The ship was made to crash in to enemy line and attack them. Charging ship must be fast and needs armor for protection. If it doesnt, even a small crash can make it drown. Turtle ship made many victories with general lee's strategy.

 This ship caused chaos to japanese and made them fear. The roof of the ship was made by metal and it had spikes on it. Soldiers covered the spikes with straw and let the japanese jump on and get injured. Many people think that turtle ship is made of iron, but it isnt. Like  I said, it is made to crash into enemy. If it was metal, it would be slow and easily drown. And it will get  hit by rains of cannon balls. That sounds painful. It also had many paddles that made them to move faster. Many people volunteered to move the paddle and fight against strong and evil enemies.

The ship had holes on th side to fire cannons every where. The soldiers inside could see outside with the dragons head. Also, there was a monsters head underneath the ship. It was used to make a giant hole on enemy ships and make them drown. Because of this protections and armor, Its called the ironclad ship.

As you can see, turtle ship is a amazing strategic ship. It has many science inside it and it is designed wonderful. I dont mean that war is a good thing, but I think war can develop technologhy and make our life to a better ways.
