Today, I went to the Gyeongbokgung palace. I'm going to tell you about Guenjeonjeon and Gyeongheru.
First, Guenjeonjeon was the outer place of the Gyeongbokgung. Many guardian animal statues are placed on the stairs. It looks like is two-story building, but actually, it's just a building with the high ceiling. In the Guenjeonjeon, the royal wedding, king's coronations, and the Chinese envoy receptions were held.
Second, Gyeonghero is the large pavilion for the relaxation and official parties. Gyeonghero's outer and inner pillars' shapes are different. It's because they thought Earth is the square and the sky is round.
To sum up, it wasn't that bad to learn about Gyeongbokgung and the rooms in there.
