I would first like to inform that the history is divided into 2 parts as the prehistoric part and the historic one. Today, at museum of Seoul national university, we found out the former one. I was able to focus at today¡¯s class even better than usual, since it is overlapping with our school¡¯s mid-term range of history.

         I would like to summarize the parts of today¡¯s class. Paleolithic age of Korean peninsula started seven hundred thousand years before, It doesn¡¯t really have any significant improvements or advantages, except the handaxe. However, the most important revolution of mankind changed everything. At the Paleolithic age, people moved around the world in order to find food and survive. Also, their dwelling area was limited to caves and other naturally safe places. The Neolithic revolution led to settlement of tribes, mostly at riverbank of riverside regions. They had found ¡°agriculture¡±; they cultivated the grains and stored the leftovers after they ate as they want. Sometimes, you would want to cook the grain flour, which is grinded by stone pestle. You can cook the grain flour by comb-patterned pottery. Much better than Paleolithic age, isn¡¯t it?

         At Bronze age, one of the human¡¯s worst system was invented; the social rank system. Since people started farming, there would be people who cultivate more than others, whereas there will be poor petty bourgeoisies. The rich got to use Bronze tools for ritual/ religious ceremony, Also, when the rich leader died, ¡°bourgeoisies¡± gathered and built a dolmen for their previous ruler.

         I think we should find out more about prehistoric era by examining relics, so that we can know how our ancestors lived, and so on.
