Today I went to 창경궁 Palace. So, I am going to introduce about the 창경궁 Palace. King 성종 built 창경궁 for his mother & grandmother. 창경궁 was burnt down at 임진왜란 at 1592 and King 광해군 rebuilt it. There are three well known sad stories at 창경궁. First, Lady Jang(장희빈) Was killed. The second story is about 사도세자. King 영조 put 사도세자 and after 40days, 사도세자 died. The last sad story is that Japan changed 창경궁 into a zoo. However, it was restored in 1984.
In 창경궁, I like 단청, 단청 consists of five color- 화 means red & five.-수 is black and means water. - 물 means Green/blue and is tree/wood. 금 is white and is represents metal. 토 is yellow and represent earth.
