When the baby was born, first the Koreans originally attached a straw rope to the gate of the house. When it was a boy they put up a red pepper, and charcoal and when it was a girl they put up a charcoal and a pine branch. And if there was a rope at the gate, the neighbors knew there was a baby and would't go in. Secondly the 100th day Celebration. In the past most of the baby's died before 100th day. So they Celebrated the 100th day of the baby For conclusion I thought that I would like if I can do the straw rope when I have a baby someday. |
