Hello, my name is Park-Hee-Jun. I am 15 years old. Today I went to the Sungkyunkwan. Sungkyunkwan was very hard to get in and only smart people were allowed. In Sungkyunkwan, there were many monuments. 'Tangpyeongbi' means to not split into factions 'Hamabi' means one should dismount from a horse regardless of his social status. 'Sinsammun' is main gate of Munmyo. 'Jegigo' can store plates and equipment for Munmyo ritual. 'Subokcheong' was a residence for male servants. 'Jeonsacheong' is to preparre food for the ritual. 'Daeseongjeon' is a shrine and has a spirit tablet of confucious. 'Myeongryundang' is where sungkyunkwan's students had lessons. 'Jongyeonggak' is library and 'Yukilgak' was to store the arrows and bows. 'Jeongrokcheong' was the management office and 'Hyanggwancheong' was the residence for government officials. Thank you for listening. |
