Hello, my name is Park Hee June. Today I went to the Gyeongungung Palace. It's original name of Deoksugung Palace. King Seongjong built it for his older brother. The main gate of Gyeongungung is Daehanmun. In the middle of Gyeongungung, there is Junghwajeon. It was the place for official events.

Seokeodang is the only two-storey building. King Gwanghaegun ordered Queen mother to lock in Seokeodang. Hamnyeongjeon was king's sleeping place, and king Gojong died here. Deokhongjeon, Seokjojeon, and Jeonggwanheon had western-style. But only Jeonggwanheon has both Korean and western style. Here was the place of relaxtion for king Gojong. Last Seokjojeon has a living room, a reception hall and bedrooms.
